Cheap Doesn't MeanSlim Pickings
A budget lot with four trucks on it isn't a lot, it's a coincidence. What we keep here is a working spread of body styles across model years — the same trucks a municipal fleet shops for, priced for an operator paying out of pocket.
$100,000
Nothing on this site is priced above it. That's not a sale or a promotion — it's the entire reason this lot exists. If a truck goes over, it moves to RDK's main inventory instead.
Also on the lot right now: front loaders, container delivery units, dump trucks, and service trucks. Inventory turns over weekly — if you don't see the configuration you need, ask what's inbound before you settle.
Every truck is here in Tampa on Adamo Drive. Nothing is brokered, drop-shipped, or sold sight-unseen from a photo — you can walk the lot, climb in, and run the body before you write a check.
Licensing
Not Every Truck HereNeeds A CDL Driver
A regular driver's license covers more truck than most fleets assume. Part of what we carry is rated at or below the federal commercial license threshold — small rear loaders with cart tippers, service and utility bodies, light cab and chassis. Same work on the route, no license upgrade to put someone in the seat.
Federal CDL threshold
26,001lbs GVWR and above
A single truck rated at 26,000 lbs or less sits under that line. Towing changes the math — a trailer can push the combined rating over the limit even when the truck alone is under it.
-
Hire From A Wider Pool
The CDL driver shortage stops being your problem. Anyone already on the payroll with a standard license can run the route.
-
On Route Sooner
No CDL school, no permit waiting period, no scheduling a road test before the truck can start earning.
-
Right-Sized For The Route
Tight residential streets, alley pickups, and small commercial routes where a 66,000-lb packer is more truck than the job needs.
Licensing rules vary by state and a truck's rating depends on how it was configured and bodied. Call and we'll tell you exactly what's on the lot under the limit right now, then pull the door-jamb sticker and VIN spec on any unit you're considering so you can check it against your own state's requirements before you buy.
Parts & Service
A Cheaper Truck Only StaysCheap If It Keeps Running
Buying used is where the savings start, not where they end. An older chassis and a well-used body need parts on the shelf and technicians who have seen the failure before. Both are in this building — same team that sold you the truck, same address on Adamo Drive.
Parts On The Shelf
465+ parts stocked across 12 manufacturers, with OEM cross-reference and aftermarket coverage. That second option matters most on an older unit, where the factory part is discontinued, backordered, or priced like the truck is still new.

Techs Who Know These Trucks
Certified on the chassis this lot actually carries — Autocar, Mack, Freightliner, Peterbilt, Kenworth — and on every refuse body brand we sell. Diagnosis doesn't start with someone looking up your truck for the first time.
